HUS – Helsinki University Hospital is Finland’s largest provider of health care services and second largest employer with 25 000 professionals. We produce services for more than 1.6 million residents of our 24 member municipalities. Helsinki University Hospital is also responsible for providing specialized medical care to the population of its’ special responsibility area and in some diseases to the entire population of the country. Every year over half a million patients are treated at the 23 HUS hospitals.
